Dutton-Goldfield Winery produces a number of outstanding wines from Dutton Ranch- a group of over 60 properties covering about 1,300 acres that the Dutton Family either owns, manages, or leases.
Most of this land is planted with grapes, but about 150 acres are planted with Gravenstein apples. Some of Dutton Ranches better known vineyards include Morelli Lane, Galante, Rued, McDougall, Cherry Ridge, Sanchietti, Freestone, Mill Station, and Devil’s Gulch.
Winemaker Dan Goldfield’s most recent release is the 2005 Dutton Ranch Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. This is a lush Pinot with velvety, mouth-coating tannins and flavors of cherries and strawberries. 2,784 cases were produced.
Dutton-Goldfield’s other available wines are the 2005 Morelli Lane Green Valley Zinfandel, 2004 Cherry Ridge Vineyard Green Valley Syrah, 2004 Devil’s Gulch Marin County Pinot Noir, 2004 Rued Vineyard Green Valley Chardonnay, 2004 McDougall Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, 2004 Russian River Valley Zinfandel, 2004 Dutton Ranch Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, and 2004 Dutton Ranch Green Valley Chardonnay.
