Cloud View Vineyards
Cloud View Vineyards is at the top of Pritchard Hill just east of the Oakville AVA. Since 1999, the winery has focused on a single a red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

Cloud View Vineyards is located on Pritchard Hill just south of Lake Hennessy and to the east of the Oakville AVA. The vineyards are grown between 1,000 and 1,500 feet above the Napa Valley floor.
Owners Linda and Leighton Taylor moved to Pritchard Hill in 1990. 5 years later, they began planting 23 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot on their 90 acre property. In addition to wine, the Taylors also make estate grown olive oil.
The estate vines are carefully pruned to maximize sun exposure, and the grapes are hand harvested, carefully sorted, and basket pressed before fermentation. Production is limited but is slowly increasing: 400 cases were made in 1999, 560 cases were made in 2000, and 2,000 cases were made in 2004.
Karen Bower Turjanis is the winemaker for Cloud View Vineyards. She previously worked under Paul Hobbs at Lokoya and Cardinale Estate. Fernando Espinoza is the cellarmaster and Linda Taylor is the vineyard manager.
