Casa Nuestra is a local favorite that has been producing wine since 1979. Estate grapes from the winery’s St Helena vineyard and fruit from Oakville are used to make 1,500 cases of 11 different wines.

Located in the St Helena AVA, Casa Nuestra was established in 1979. The 22 acre estate vineyard is hand pruned and meticulously maintained to produce the highest quality grapes possible. Environmentally friendly and organic farming techniques are used whenever possible.

Owner Gene Kirkham is known to his friends as the “happy farmer.” He truly loves what he does, and his passion comes through in the wine. Allen Price is the winemaker at Casa Nuestra.

The winery makes 1,500 cases of wine each year from vineyards in St Helena and Oakville. The Estate St Helena vineyard was originally planted during the 1960s but has been substantially replanted since then. The Oakville vineyard is located near other famous properties such as Martha’s Vineyard and Far Niente.

Despite their small production, Casa Nuestra makes 11 different wines, many made with unusual grapes and blends. Their wines include a Meritage blend, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, late harvest French Colombard, Chenin Blanc, Riesling, Rosado, Two Goats Red, and 2 different Chianti-style blends.
