Canyon Road Winery


Canyon Road sells their wines to several luxury hotel chains including the Ritz Carlton and 4 Seasons. The winery owns about 140 acres of vineyards in Northern California and also sources fruit from the Central and North Coasts.

Christopher Munsell and Ondine Chattan share the winemaking duties. Mr. Munsell previously worked for the legendary Château Lafite Rothschild in Bordeaux, France. Ms. Chattan worked for Cline Cellars and Geyser Peak Winery before joining the team at Canyon Road Winery.

The winery’s Chardonnay is made in stainless steel tanks with 50% malo. After fermentation is complete, the wine is allowed to age on the lees for an additional 4 months. This gives it a more complex texture.

The Canyon Road Shiraz is made mainly with grapes grown in the Central Valley’s Sacramento Delta. It was fermented on its skins for a week and then aged in a combination of French and American oak as well as stainless steel tanks.
