Berghold Vineyards
In 1986, Joe and Kay Berghold established Berghold Vineyards in the Lodi AVA. Along with their son, Miles, the couple recently completed building their wine production facilities.

Berghold Vineyards’ most recent releases include the 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2001 Syrah, 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon/Syrah blend, and 2001 Viognier. The Bergholds have garnered a lot of attention recently when they opened their brand new winery to the public.
Joe and Kay Berghold are avid collectors of Victorian art, and always wanted to marry this passion with their love of wine. They have succeeded in doing this by blending their art pieces seamlessly into the décor of their winery.
Although Joe and Kay refer to their new winery as, “an elegant barn,” they are far too modest. A fellow member of the Lodi wine industry recently said, “Berghold Vineyards sets a new design standard for their region.”
