Albini Family Vineyards

Mark as Favorite

Located in the Chalk Hill wine region, Albini Family Vineyards makes about 500 cases of well received Zinfandel and Merlot each year. No detail is overlooked in their limited production.

Region: Sonoma County
Sub Region: Chalk Hill
Wine: View all wines

Because the Albini Family produces such a low volume of wine, they are able to pay attention to every detail throughout the grape growing and winemaking process. They hand harvest only the ripest, most balanced fruit in their low yielding vineyard.

Their grapes are vinified using labor intensive methods. This includes punching down the cap several times a day during fermentation and basket pressing. Many of these techniques have been abandoned at larger wineries.
