Miramonte Winery
Miramonte Winery is the definition of a small, family owned and operated winery. With an annual production of less than 5,000 cases, they are one of the smaller producers in Temecula Valley.
Mount Palomar Winery
Over the past few decades, Mount Palomar Winery has been instrumental in bringing Temecula’s wine industry to prominence. In 1969, John H. Poole began planting his vineyards in the region’s elevated, granitic soils.
Oak Mountain Winery
Stephen and Valerie Andrews began winemaking in 2001 with 11 acres. They purchased steep terrain in Temecula that is suited for Rhone varietals. They produce their Temecula Hills labels there. In response to loyal wine enthusiasts, they procured Oak Mountain Winery, their second property.
Palumbo Family Vineyards and Winery
Established in 1998, Palumbo Family Vineyards traces its history to the dual interests of culinary arts and wine that possess its winemaker, Nicholas Palumbo. He and his family moved onto the first seven acres of what would become Palumbo Family Vineyards.
Ponte Family Estate Winery
The Ponte brothers, Roberto and Claudio, began growing grapes in Temecula in 1984. They opened Ponte Family Winery, restaurant and tasting room in 2003. The estate facility sits amid 350 acres of vineyard and grounds. The Pontes now generate approximately 15,000 cases of wine each year and host special events at the estate.
Robert Renzoni Vineyards
The Renzoni winemaking tradition reaches back to the late 19th century when Frederico Renzoni tended vineyards in Italy. Frederico’s son, grandson and great-grandson would go on to work in the wine industry. In 2008, Robert Renzoni Winery started business.
South Coast Winery
South Coast Winery not only produces excellent Temecula wine. They also have a resort and award winning restaurant. This is the most luxurious stop in the area.
Stuart Cellars Vineyard & Winery
After an apprenticeship at Keyways Winery, Mr. Stuart and his wife Susan purchased 40 acres. Stuart Cellars Vineyard & Winery thus began in 1998. The Stuarts carefully planted those acres in the French tradition of north to south.
Temecula Hills Winery
Established in 2000, Temecula Hills Winery is owned and operated by Stephen and Valerie Andrews. Oak Mountain, is well known in the area for its award-winning wines.
Thornton Winery
Thornton Winery uses Old World techniques to produce still wines as well as sparkling wines using traditional methods. The winery is one of the oldest in the Temecula AVA, and began solely producing bubbly. In 1993, Thornton began making varietal still wines.
