Callaway Winery
Established in 1969, Callaway Vineyard & Winery was one of the first premium wineries in Temecula Valley. Founder Ely Callaway was a visionary not only in the local wine industry, but also as the founder of the Big Bertha golf club.
Churon Winery
Unique among Temecula’s wineries, Churon Winery also features an inn. The chateau of the Inn at Churon Winery features rooms that overlook the 11 acres of vineyards, private terraces and balconies and fireplaces. Guests enjoy a private wine hour in the evening.
Falkner Winery
Ray and Loretta Falkner established Falkner Winery in 2000. The tasting room and production facilities are located in an impressive building that has sweeping views of Temecula Valley.
Leonesse Cellars
Leonesse Cellars is a relatively new winery in the Temecula Valley AVA. Their 2003 Chardonnay, 2002 Merlot, and 2002 Cinsault Port all recently won medals at the 2005 Orange County Fair.
Maurice Car'rie Winery
Established in 1968, the vineyards at Maurice Car’rie Winery were some of the first vines planted in Temecula Valley. The production facilities were built in 1986 by Budd and Maurice C. Van Roekel. Buddy and Cheri Linn recently purchased the property.
Miramonte Winery
Miramonte Winery is the definition of a small, family owned and operated winery. With an annual production of less than 5,000 cases, they are one of the smaller producers in Temecula Valley.
Mount Palomar Winery
Over the past few decades, Mount Palomar Winery has been instrumental in bringing Temecula’s wine industry to prominence. In 1969, John H. Poole began planting his vineyards in the region’s elevated, granitic soils.
South Coast Winery
South Coast Winery not only produces excellent Temecula wine. They also have a resort and award winning restaurant. This is the most luxurious stop in the area.
Thornton Winery
Thornton Winery uses Old World techniques to produce still wines as well as sparkling wines using traditional methods. The winery is one of the oldest in the Temecula AVA, and began solely producing bubbly. In 1993, Thornton began making varietal still wines.
VR La Cereza Winery
VR La Cereza is located in the Temecula Valley AVA. It was originally Van Roekel Vineyard but was recently changed to its new name by Maurice and Cheri Linn when they purchased the property.
