Sonoma Mountain wineries are located in an in isolated, beautiful region. Most produce full bodied red varietals including Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel.
Benziger Family Winery
The Benziger Family Winery produces some outstanding wines at reasonable prices. Mike Benziger is recognized as one of the driving forces behind the "fighting varietal" movement of the 1980s.
Coturri Winery
Since its beginnings, Coturri Winery has been a family affair. Enrico Coturri immigrated to America around the turn of the century. He initially worked at a barrel cooperage in San Francisco.
Laurel Glen Winery
Laurel Glen Winery is owned by Patrick and Faith Campbell. In 1977, they bought their 35 acre Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard on Sonoma Mountain. The couple also owns a substantial amount of vineyards in Lodi and Argentina.
