Sonoma Coast Wineries (Back to overview)

There are only a few wineries located in the Sonoma Coast AVA, but there are over 50 vineyard owners. Local wineries are small, boutique producers that specialize in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Peay Vineyards produces wine from the coastal part of Sonoma County. After a long search, proprietors Nick Peay, Andy Peay, and Vanessa Wong found an ideal piece of property for their vinous aspirations.

Flowers Vineyard & Winery is a Pinot Noir and Chardonnay specialist located in the Sonoma Coast AVA. Owners Walt and Joan Flowers produce about 15,000 cases of wine a year.

Fort Ross Vineyard & Winery is located in the Sonoma Coast AVA only about a mile away from the Pacific Ocean. The elevated vineyard is planted on a hill that is often above the region’s regular fog.

Aubert Wines

Aubert Wines is a very small label that is run out of Calistoga in Northern Napa Valley. They specialize in small quantities of single vineyard wines, and have received considerable acclaim for their production.

Annapolis Winery

Annapolis Winery is located in the Sonoma Coast AVA. The vineyards were established in 1975 and the first vintage was the 1986 Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery is situated about 3 miles away from the Pacific Ocean and has stunning views.

Roessler Cellars

Located in the Sonoma Coast AVA, Roessler Cellars specializes in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The winery’s inaugural vintage consists of 250 cases of Sangiacomo Vineyard Pinot, and was very well received.

Copeland Creek Vineyards produces Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and a Meritage blend. The winery is based in the Sonoma Coast AVA and also owns a vineyard on Sonoma Mountain.

Armagh Vineyard

Established in 1997, Armagh Vineyard is located in the Sonoma Coast AVA. Although the land is planted with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah, Armagh only makes a couple hundred cases of Syrah each year and sells the other grapes.
