Knights Valley Wineries (Back to overview)
While the AVA is primarily a growers' region, there are also several high-quality Knights Valley Wineries. There are approximately 30 growers who own 2,000 acres of vines in the viticultural area.
Peter Michael Winery
Peter Michael Winery is a well financed and consistent producer of Bordeaux and Burgundy varietals. Peter Michael makes several Chardonnays, a Pinot Noir, and two red Bordeaux blends.
Anakota Wines
Anakota specializes in single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery uses grapes sourced from two vineyards in the foothills surrounding Mount St. Helena. Total production is a little over 1,000 cases a year.
Hans Fahden Vineyard
Hans Fahden Vineyard is located in the volcanic hills near Mount St. Helena. They are a limited quantity winery and only produce about 2,500 cases annually. The vineyard is owned by old Napa Valley family who has been committed to their land for generations.
