The Bennett Valley AVA was established in 2003, after John Arnold of Matanzas Creek filed the petition. There are a few other premium producers in this small wine region.

Matanzas Creek Winery
Matanzas Creek Winery is located on a beautiful piece of property in the Sonoma Valley AVA. Jess Jackson purchased the winery from Sandra and Bill MacIver in 2000. He currently produces Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay.
