Amador Foothill Winery

In 1980, Hank Battjes established Gold Hill Vineyard in the Sierra Foothills’ El Dorado AVA. Located near the town of Coloma, the winery makes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay, and sparkling wine.
Granite Springs Winery
Granite Springs Winery was founded by Lester and Lynne Russell. For several years, they bought the majority of their grapes from Jon and Margaret Latcham. In 1994, the Russells sold their winery to the Latcham Family.
Hollys Hill Vineyards
Hollys Hill Vineyards is a small, family owned and operated producer that is located in the elevated El Dorado AVA. The winery focuses solely on Rhone varietals, which are well suited to the local climate and terrain.

In 1979, Lawrence and Karly Cobb started Karly Winery. They currently make 11,000 cases of wine a year and own 20 acres of vineyards planted with 8 different varietals.
