Fiddletown Wineries (Back to overview)
Although there are only a handful of Fiddletown wineries, they are owned by dedicated individuals serious about producing distinctive wines. There is no lack of flavor in grapes from the region; balance is the challenge.
Terre Rouge
Terre Rouge Winery is located in the town of Fiddletown in the Sierra Foothills. Winemaker Bill Easton makes wines with many different grapes grown in several regions. He specializes in Rhone varietals and Zinfandel.
Le Mulet Rouge
Le Mulet Rouge is a tiny boutique producer that is based in Fiddletown. Jack and Sheila Feichtner eventually plan to build a winery and plant vines. But right now, they source excellent fruit from other vineyards. The winery’s name means “the red mule” in French.
