Kongsgaard
Kongsgaard is a Napa Valley Chardonnay specialist. The winery also makes a small amount of Syrah, Viognier, and Roussanne. The Kongsgaard 2003 Napa Valley Chardonnay was ranked #8 on Wine Spectator’s 2006 Top 100 list.
Lynch Vineyards
Lynch Vineyards is a small property in the northwestern hills of the Napa Valley. The 18 acre estate is planted with 5 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot. Dan Lynch also produces Chardonnay with grapes from Chiles Valley.
Marston Family Vineyard
Michael and Alexandra Marston purchased Menasco Ranch over 3 decades ago. Although they have been long-time fixtures in the Napa Valley, they did not begin producing their estate wines until 1998.
Newton Vineyard
Newton Vineyard is a striking group of terraced vines in the Spring Mountain AVA. Dr. Su Hua and Peter Newton are the owners of the property. Su Hua is also the winemaker.
OnThEdge Winery
OnThEdge Winery is literally “on the edge” of ridge that separates Napa Valley from Sonoma County. It is located in the Western Mayacamas Mountain high in the Spring Valley AVA.
Paloma Vineyard
The land that is now Paloma Vineyard was originally planted over a century ago. The old vineyard was abandoned for decades, but some 100 year old Zinfandel vines survived.
Peacock Family Vineyard
While many California wineries are constantly experimenting with new varietals, Peacock Family Vineyard does one thing very well: producing a single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from the Spring Mountain wine region.
Philip Togni Vineyard
At an elevation of 2,000 feet above sea level, Philip Togni Vineyard is one of the highest properties in the Spring Mountain AVA. The winery produces Cabernet Sauvignon and a sweet red wine that is made with the obscure Black Hamburgh grape.
Pride Mountain Vineyards
In 1990, Pride Mountain Vineyards was established by Jim and Carolyn Pride. Unfortunately, Mr. Pride passed away recently after a lengthy fight with cancer. His wife Carolyn and their children, Steven and Suzanne, are continuing his legacy.
Ritchie Creek Vineyard
Ritchie Creek Vineyard produces 800 cases of wine each year from 8 acres of estate grapes. Owners Pete and Maggie Minor are best known for Cabernet Sauvignon, but also make Merlot, Pinot Noir, Viognier, Chardonnay, and an Austrian varietal called Blaufrankisch.
