McDowell Valley Wineries (Back to overview)
There is only one McDowell Valley winery in the entire AVA. But there are several hundred acres of vines that are mainly planted with Rhone varietals including Syrah, Grenache, and Viognier. Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon also do quite well here.

McDowell Valley Vineyard
McDowell Valley Vineyard is owned by William Crawford and has a tasting room in the quaint town of Hopland. Mr. Crawford's winery is the only one in the McDowell Valley wine region.
