Hello, I'm new to this site but thought I'd share a brand new wine social network that's in the mix, www.vinyou.com. Might be worth checking out. Looking forward to being more a part of this site. Great post!

Hi malibualy, there are certainly others that know much more about this than me, but from what I have read, neglected vines need to be thoroughly pruned and should not be fertilized unless they are very weak. Here are some links that may be helpful: http://www.gardening-howto.com/pruning-plants/pruning-grapes.htm http://www.acburke.com/acatalog/A_C__Burke___Company_Pruning_55.html

Does anyone have any resources on how to revive a neglected vineyard? I have an incredible opportunity to make 1500 chard and pinot grigot vines into a functional vineyard that up until now only fed the deer.
